1. Service Description

SourceHat Scan ("the Service") provides automated smart contract security analysis using AI-powered tools. The Service is operated by SourceHat ("we", "us", "our").

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Credits and Payment

Scans require credits. Credits are purchased via Stripe or Coinbase Commerce. All purchases are final except where a scan fails due to a system error, in which case the credit is automatically refunded. Credits do not expire. Subscription credits are granted at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

4. Source Code Handling

Source code submitted for scanning is processed in isolated, ephemeral containers that are destroyed after the scan completes. Source code and scan artifacts are retained in encrypted storage for up to one year to improve scan accuracy. You may request deletion of your archived source code at any time via the API.

5. No Guarantee of Security

The Service provides automated analysis and does not guarantee the discovery of all vulnerabilities. Scan reports are not a substitute for a comprehensive manual audit. We make no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of scan results.

6. Acceptable Use

You may only submit code that you own or have authorization to audit. You may not use the Service to analyze malicious code, create exploits for unauthorized attacks, or violate any applicable laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SourceHat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to losses from undetected vulnerabilities.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
